Yochanan Burnstein, MD

Dr. Burnstein, a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist joined Eye Physicians of Orange County, P.C. in 1998. Dr. Burnstein graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yeshiva College and received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in 1993. Dr. Burnstein completed Residency in Ophthalmology and served as Chief Resident at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital of Albert Einstein in 1997. He completed a Fellowship in Glaucoma at The University of Maryland in 1998.

Dr. Burnstein has lectured on the subject of glaucoma locally, at national meetings and internationally and has authored numerous research publications. He has presented original research and taught courses in glaucoma and has published multiple articles and book chapters in leading ophthalmology journals and textbooks. He has also served on the faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine and currently serves as the Director of The Glaucoma Center of Orange County.
